Eli Rubin

is a contributing editor at Chabad.org, and the author of Kabbalah and the Rupture of Modernity: An Existential History of Chabad Hasidism, forthcoming from Stanford University Press. He received his PhD from the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies, University College London. 

His articles on the intellectual and social history of Chabad Hasidism have appeared in academic journals, including the AJS Review, Shofar, and In Geveb, and in public-facing publications such as Jewish Currents and The Lehrhaus.
